HOW THE HECK DID I GROW A TAIL!

July 29, 2010 Well, just in alert I came up with Mr. Brightside from the song from the Killers. IF you have heard of them. Anyways, I woke up feeling eager for some quiet. See, since Michael and Daniel like to or just fight a lot over some sleep space I always have bad starts in sleep. I just wondered how it would be like if I lived in another house with more rooms so Michael and Daniel could be separate. But, for some reason, I always got singled out to take care of the fight since nobody else had the guts to do it. Anyways, I woke-up, and made a big moaning noise which I haven’t moaned in awhile. Though, I was soo lucky today wasn’t church day. But, when I made that moan I already opened my eyes so big to know Michael and Daniel was going to fight. Instead, they slept like little fighting angels.So, I was happy for them. I went downstairs, and left a smile in the room. I eventually had to use the computer because what else was on my mind? Lol. Anyways, Michael and Daniel came downstairs just 12 minutes I set myself down and started entertaining myself. Well, Daniel wanted to play my account on Poptropica. Which now I regret even making an account in front of him. And he wanted to help me on the island Skullduggery. It’s basically when you have to spend money on these ships and destroy other ships and take their loot. But, Daniel says everything in the game is hard. So, he has to do it for me. Hey!! Anyways, they played video games in the morning again. Without any complaints from my mom or any rules. So, we had actually a blast. The thing was today (yesterday) Michael and Daniel’s mom (Ms. Ginger) was going to pick them up at four o’ clock at afternoon. And we had to go to Anthony’s pool again. I just hoped he’d change from last time. Once we came to pick him up I was in the trunk this time. So, he didn’t find me ti’ll one of my hairs poked out of the trunk. Once we got there, it was even more deserted. But, again we were the nosiest people in the pool. hen, Andrei came up with this game when we were on one side of the pool and she was on the other side of the pool. While she was on the other side of the pool, she was going to either give us a movie or song question and we had to answer what she was talking about. But, the trick part was the fact we had to swim all the way to her which put a lot of pain and stress on my muscles. The ones Andrei knew she just swam like a Leopard Seal and I could barely catch-up. So, whenever I would swim and then she would pass me and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to make it I just raised my head out of the water and said the answer. Though, too bad I kept giving it away. Lol. Once we were close to leaving Anthony was being a jerk again. Daniel really wanted him to quit it. So, he told me in the car he wanted to tell my mom. I didn’t want to. But, for the first time Daniel was emotionally, jerk bullied. Wow, it makes me happy to actually see his feelings. Then, we got back home. He told my mom. But no results really. Then, Ms. Ginger came to pick them up.Though, I heard Ms. Ginger and my mom were making plans for the next hangout. So, I’m psyched. Then, after they left I was depressed. Didn’t have anything to do thrilling. I just watched Project Runaway with my mom and sister then went to bed.

This week, Greg Heffley, the lead character from Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, has been hanging out on Main Street on all of the islands. Earlier this week if you clicked on him, he would tell you to come back on Thursday to see the cover of the new book. Well it’s Thursday and now you can see it. Find Greg on Main Street on any of the islands and click on him. A few seconds later, the book cover will appear. It looks like the latest book will be called, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth . Greg also tells you that the book comes out on November 9. I like the book series but I was hoping that Poptropica would have done something a little more exciting than just have Greg standing around and showing off a book cover. The Poptropica Creators have started updating the official Poptropica blog with a bunch of secrets and cheats in the game. Hey, wait a minute…that’s my job! Most of these tips and tricks have been around for a while and are probably already very well known to readers here at PoptropicaSecrets.com. They’ve been posting every day this week with a new tip. On Monday, they talked about hidden clickable items like the crab in Time-Tangled and the cockroaches in Reality TV Island. On Tuesday, they posted about the cell phone codes from Nabooti, which of course most of us have all known about for a while. And yesterday, they revealed one of the keyboard shortcuts — the costume randomizer (CTRL + SHIFT + R) which completely changes your Poptropica character’s look to something totally random. Even though a lot of these tips and tricks are pretty old (the keyboard shortcuts have been around for a very long time), some newer players might not know about them and it’s great to see the Poptropica Creators sharing some “official” secrets. I hope they reveal something truly new soon! Oh and here are all the cell phone codes and keyboard shortcuts in case you are wondering. The Poptropica Creators revealed a few hidden cheats and secrets in their latest blog post on the offfical Poptropica blog this week. They showed how there are some hidden clickable objects in the world that do funny things. We’ve seen a few hidden things before, like when they released the Hypnotic Costume and hid it on one of the buildings in Early Poptropica. In this post, they show you how you can click on some bugs and stuff in different parts of the game. One example they give is the crab at the very beginning of Time-Tangled Island. When you click on him, he hides in his shell. If you click on him several times, he explodes into tiny pieces. Gross! But he re-appears shortly, so no crabs were harmed in the making of this game. In Reality TV Island, when you go into Bucky’s room or into the Motel Office, you’ll see tiny cockroaches darting around on the walls. If you click on them, they will get smushed. Yuck. It’s kind of gross, but when you click on the cockroaches in the Reality TV Island motel, they get smushed.

There’s a familiar face walking around on Main Street on all the Poptropica islands. It’s Greg Heffley, the main character from the Diary of a Wimpy kids books. One of the Poptropica Creators, Jeff Kinney , is also the author of this really popular book series, which was also made into a popular movie earlier this year. There’s a new book in the series coming out soon and Greg is wandering around in Poptropica to promote it. When you click on him, he tells you to come back on Thursday to see the front cover of the new book. If you haven’t read the series yet, it’s really funny!

New post at the PCB – Well the post was.. Poptropica Tips and Tricks: Pest control This week we’re going to be sharing some neat tips and tricks to help you get a little more from Poptropica. We’ve hidden a lot of fun easter eggs in the game. You may have found some already! Have you ever noticed how many of the background objects in Poptropica are interactive? Sometimes even more than you’d think. Take the crab that’s crawling around the first screen of Time Tangled Island. He certainly looks mopey. But he’ll look even more mopey if you click on him. See how he gets squished? Well, just see what happens if you keep clicking on him real fast! Yikes! He explodes. Your Poptropican has to dodge the debris. Don’t worry, though: he’ll come back together and be good as new in no time. The same cannot be said for the roaches that infest Bucky’s hotel room on Reality TV Island. Those little buggers move fast. If you can catch up with them, here’s what happens: If you leave the room and come back inside, they’ll be ready to be squashed all over again. Have you found any more clickable objects in Poptropica? Well, there are more cockroaches in the train station on Super Power Island.. that’s all, PEACE! The latest Twilight Movie, Eclipse , is out in theatres this summer and Vampiremania has once again become the rage. Poptropica now lets you get in on the fun with a bunch of new vampire costumes available in the Poptropica Store. There are three new vampire costumes for girls and one new vampire costume for boys. The costumes are very similar to what the characters from the Twilight movies wear. The girl vampire outfits each have a totally different look. One features a frilly outfit with blood red lips and fangs and another outfit is very trendy with dark sunglasses (since when do vampires go out in the sun?). The costume for boys looks very much like Edward’s outfit from the movie and features wavy hair, dark glasses, and a brown trench coat. Don’t forget that there are two other Poptropica Vampire costumes available for free in the Haunted House mission . At the end of that mini-quest, there’s a costume party and there are two vampire outfits you can costumize. They are more classic Dracula-style outfits with capes, but they’re fun choices to get your vampire on!

I’ve been working on some concept sketches for the idea of PawsBuy. PawsBuy may be used in a virtual world, where evil forces are working at destroying the world. One force has succeeded in their general ambition, mixing to seperate worlds, one of strange creatures, and one water filled planet, where islands are having difficulty surviving. I’m still working on a few sketches, and I’ll post them as soon as possible.

The Poptropica Creators posted the official Steamworks Island promotional page, and you can find it here: http://www.poptropica.com/steamworks_island.html The only things noteworthy about the page for now are that members will get early access soon and it will become available for everyone to play later this summer. There’s also a short plot teaser, which reads like this: The silence of empty streets welcomes you. Metal and machines fill the lonely halls, and a growing mystery lurks behind a shroud of steam. Can you uncover what happened to the inhabitants of this ancient island? Gear up for a steam-powered adventure you will never forget! The look of the images in the promo show vine-covered buildings from ancient times, probably Mayan or Aztec. And the clues in the teaser promo along with the screenshots that the creators have posted show that part of the mystery involves a giant plant monster and that there will be lots of steam-powered machinery involved. And it appears we might even get the chance to pilot a steam-powered mech.
