A Few Reminders From Fierce Sky
Nov30
So, there hasn’t been much Poptropica news recently, so I figured I could use this break to remind all you viewers of a few things you might be interested in. First off, I put up a poll earlier this month on the site asking what you’d like to see happen on here. That poll has 42 and counting votes already, but I’d like to see at least 100 by the end of December. I really appreciate your input, and would still like to know more of what to emphasize on the blog. So, if you haven’t already, please vote on this poll soon! I reposted it below. (Also, I would like to see a bit more support for talking a bit about other games besides Poptropica, as I know that the only person who has voted for it is Smockers from the PHB.)

Always wanted a beard?
Nov27
Sponsored by the PHB Styling of hair has been a big thing in Poptropica for the past years. But as of yet the creation of a beard has not been a hit. Whether it’s that pre-pubescent children just cant manage to sprout a few hairs on their chin, or 8 – 15 year olds can’t even get the option to customize those golden bearded curls. This will all change due to the new product by Codien called ‘Spray on Beard’. A beard in a can, how remarkable, just point cans nozzle towards ones desired area and press down firmly. Instant beard. A quality product tested by profound scientists, they all agree it’s safe to use. Here’s what a random tester thought, “The perfect thing i need for my Poptropican. It’s Great”. Codien is giving you the chance to get a beard just in time for Christmas. Only 30 will get one so head over to his blog now to enter. Good Luck! http://codien.wordpress.com/ In other news… H a p p y T h a n k s g i v i n g from the PHB to you ! Thanks to all of you for visiting our Poptropica site! ^.^ Here’s a picture designed by the Poptropica Creators for this very special holiday: There’s a new Phineas and Ferb advertisement mini-game on Main Street for all ages. Thanks to dancingstarlet for the update. Please welcome Green Seal to our Poptropica Help Team ! She’ll be helping the PHB make posts about Poptropica news and updates.

By now you’re probably thinking: Where can i find this product? Unfortunately this product has not been shipped into the Poptropica Store yet which leaves supplies slightly small. I only managed to make 30 cans of this magic stuff and have decided to use it wisely by giving it to the public to try. To get your very own beard you must write in the comments your idea of the wackiest beard. Only 30 of the best will be chosen. Remember to leave your email so i can respond to you. There are only 30 beards to get so get spraying! Contest closes December 3rd.
The New Ads
Nov26
Hi Guys, its Mets here. I will be posting updates about once a month here,as well as Graphics. I may do a Special New Year’s Day Header, but I need some ideas. So,please help by pitching your ideas as comments below. Now back to Poptropica. There are two new ads on Poptropica. The First one is Night at the Museum. When I first saw the Ad,I was thinking “What the Heck could they possibly have me do. Well, they wanted me to find a Dinosaur’s bones in 60 seconds. Then, they wanted me to reassemble it!!!! Major UGH!!! But,I was able to do it anyway. Here is the Costume I got as a reward: Pretty sweet Costume huh? Well,if you think thats cool, wait to you hear about the Phineas and Ferb Ad!!! It is Poptropica’s second Christmas Ad,and It’s still Thanksgiving!!! (Oh yeah,Happy Thanksgiving xD). Anyways, the Phineas and Ferb Ad requires you to organize Santa’s gifts by Country. The Countries are Brazil,Canada,France and The USA. They gave me a free sleigh and a Cool Costume for Savin Christmas (I’d ask for more, but I’m not THAT greedy xD). Here is a picture of the Sleigh:
Two New Ads
Nov26
Hi Guys, its Mets here. First off,I just wanna wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. The Creators have been more active lately,as some of us already noticed. Anyways, there are two New Ads On Poptropica. One is for Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian. Here is a screenshot of when you first walk in: Yes,I got my poptropican ready for Christmas. The items are from the Phineas and Ferb ad,which I’ll get to later. Back to The Night at the Museum Ad. These Crazy people want you to reassemble a Dinosaur!!! I’m not in a mood to get eaten by a Tyranosaurus Rex…First though, you have to find the bones in 60 seconds. Took me three tries to get this one! But anyway,I still got the Reward… A security guard suit!! Once you finish that, you can start the Phineas and Ferb Ad. You have to sort the Items in order by Country for Santa. This one is easier. I personally like The Phineas and Ferb Ad better because it has better prizes xD. Once you’re done with the Phineas and Ferb Ad, You get to take a ride on Santa’s Sleigh WHENEVER you want. Here is the Sleigh: You also get a really cool outfit as well. Here is the Costume:

Bye Bye Bionicle
Nov24
The LEGO company has recently announced that the BIONICLES launching in January will be the last they will release. Here is the exact post from http://mylegonetworkblog.blogspot.com/ . Nov 24, 2009 End of Bionicle Quote from BZPower: I just received this email straight from The LEGO Group regarding the future of Bionicle. To some extent I’ll say I was surprised, but with the rumors that had been going around recently I guess it was to be expected. I think we all need to appreciate the company’s frankness and honesty in announcing this as early as they have. Please read the message below to find out what’s in store for Bionicle. Dear BIONICLE Fans, In reviewing the business across all of its play patterns and properties, the LEGO Group faced a tough question: should we take on a new creative challenge in the world of buildable figures that we pioneered in 2001? BIONICLE re-invented the way consumers think of and play with the LEGO system. Through many chapters of compelling story and innovative product development, BIONICLE became a very strong property and an important part of The LEGO Group’s business. We think there is a significant opportunity to grow the buildable figure category, but it will take a more flexible platform that appeals to a wider range of ages through a variety of different entry points than BIONICLE has proven to deliver. The easy decision would be to stick with a known entity in BIONICLE; but as history has proven, The LEGO Group achieves its greatest success by embracing the uncertainty that innovation brings. After all, BIONICLE almost never launched because it was such a big risk to the company’s way of doing business. Because you have been such an important part of building the BIONICLE franchise and have been among its most valued fans, we are writing to tell you that the six BIONICLE Stars launching in January will be the last BIONICLE sets for the foreseeable future. Beginning in summer 2010, The LEGO Group will debut a new, more flexible buildable figure property created by the same people who brought you BIONICLE. At the same time, we are also expanding the category to appeal to a younger audience through an established third-party property, starting in January. Since its beginning, BIONICLE has reflected the union of great product and a compelling story. Although there presently are no plans for more sets, the BIONICLE story is not ending. BIONICLEstory.com will remain an active site, with new story content updated by long-time BIONICLE writer Greg Farshtey. In addition, LEGO Group hopes to work with you, the fans, to continue to grow and expand the BIONICLE story universe. This was an extremely difficult decision for all involved. But as seen in the tales of the Toa, striving for success in any mission requires imagination, new ways of thinking, and the willingness to take risks. We hope you will share the same level of enthusiasm we have for our plans for the buildable figure category. We invite you to remain a part of the BIONICLE universe—a universe you have helped to build, and that we are confident that you will continue to build—in the future. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the BIONICLE and LEGO brands. With our very best regards, Jan Faltum, Global BIONICLE Director Lincoln Armstrong, Senior Brand Manager, BIONICLE Team Member since 2002 Again, I’d like to thank LEGO for contacting BZPower directly to make us aware of this development. Please, let’s not think of this as an end – there are no plans for BZPower to close as long as you, the fans, are willing to talk about and build with Bionicle and other LEGO themes. Let’s instead look forward to a new opportunity and a new story that can develop and become just as interesting as Bionicle has over these past years.£ Source: BZP Posted by Sim533 ___________________________________________________________ I am sad to say that there is no good news in the world of LEGO. Oh, but I am seeing Planet 51 tonight. Seen it. Oh, and can some one translate the binary code? I just translated it the binary. It reads: “the scream”.
